Mark Dell — Director of Student Ministries

Mark always knew he would work in full time ministry; he only thought it would be after he retired! He was a volunteer in his home church in the youth ministry for seven years.  During those years, God showed Mark through an incredible series of events that he wanted him to work at the church full time. The Lord has provided for Mark and his family in amazing ways over the last few years.  Now, he believes that God wants him to continue to live his life for him and to share his love and truth to others.

Mark has  BA in Youth Ministries and resides in Cecil County, Maryland with his wife, Rachel and their three children. Before coming to Red Lion in October, 2006, Mark worked for fourteen years for the Delmarva Power Company.

Mark enjoys spending time with his family, kayaking, camping and hiking.

His favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 3: 5-6:  Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

Missy Wamble – Children’s Ministry Director

Missy came to know the Lord when she was eight years old. As an adult, she struggled with anxiety but continued to seek after the Lord. Soon after, the Lord healed Missy and since then she has been completely committed heart, soul, and mind to Jesus.

Missy resides in Bear with her husband Cory of thirteen years. They have two sons.  She has a BS in Elementary and Special Education from the University of Delaware. Before joining the Red Lion staff this August, she was a stay-at-home mom and worked part time as an English teacher at Delaware Technical and Community College. She enjoys eating s’mores by the campfire with her family, a sunny day at the beach in Cape Hatteras, running, and doing anything outdoors.

Her favorite Bible verse is Zephaniah 3:17: The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love,  he will rejoice over you with singing."

Beverly Rider – Assistant Children’s Director

Beverly recently began this position after being away from the working world for a few years, but filled that time as a stay-at-home mom and volunteer for many things. She and her husband, Randy, have been married almost 15 years and have two children.  They have lived in Bear, DE for approximately 5 ½ years and have been members at Red Lion for over 5 years.  Bev has been active in the nursery, VBS, volunteered in the church office and truly enjoys her new position within the Children’s Ministry. Her hobbies include reading and spending time with her family. Bev is the youngest of four children and grew up on a farm in Lancaster County, PA. She was baptized at the age of 12 in the Mennonite Church she grew up attending and credits her devoted parents and siblings to her strong Christian background.  Her favorite verse is from Proverbs 22:6:  Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.
