Impact groups: people meeting together for the purpose of God Impacting their lives.
We are excited about all that God is doing in our Impact Ministry. God created us for deep, authentic relationships and community with one another. IMPACT groups provide the kind of life-giving fellowship that builds the body of Christ here at Red Lion. They are an important way for everyone to become connected with others in our spiritual family and experience the power of transforming relationships, where individuals build up one another in love and support. As a result our IMPACT Ministry is one of the ways God is helping our spiritual family grow in their relationship with the Lord.
These groups appeal to a diverse mix of our spiritual family from seniors to parents of young children. Our groups focus on a variety of topics from parenting to spiritual health to missions. Pastor Jamie meets regularly with the IMPACT leaders and their families for times of prayer and training.
In 2008, we desire to see our IMPACT ministry grow in two areas. First, our desire is to add new groups as more people are expressing a desire to be a part of an IMPACT group. Second, our desire is to increase the amount of individuals attending all of our IMPACT groups to reach a larger percentage of our congregation. We know when a family becomes an active part of an IMPACT group, God changes their lives. We encourage each of you to consider joining an IMPACT group; we are confident the Lord will bless you in this area!
