Food Pantry Prepares for Thanksgiving
Caring Hearts with Helping Hands will be providing Thanksgiving meals for those who receive food through our neighborhood deliveries as well as those who come to our on site pantry. The items needed are: Instant potatoes, stuffing, canned yams, gravy, cranberry sauce, muffin/bread mix and ready made pie filling. If you are able to donate a turkey, please contact Amy at 302.378.9909 or Dolly at 302.838.0264. Drop off times for turkeys will be after services today and next Sunday, Nov. 23rd in our fellowship areas. There will be a volunteer available to take your turkey for you.

Funeral Luncheon Volunteers
Red Lion offers the use of the sanctuary for funerals for members, regular attendees, and family members of members and regular attendees. We also offer to hold a luncheon in the Ratledge Gym for the family. If you would like to be “on call” to donate food and/or serve food for these occasions, please contact Vicki Sleezer at 410.885.2790

Salvation Army Bell Ringing Opportunity
Would you like to volunteer your time to be a bell ringer for the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign this Christmas season? The Salvation Army’s mission is to meet human needs in the name of Christ.The kettles are a big component of accomplishing this mission. Contact Dolly Emerson at 838-0264 or heartofdolly@aol.com.

Worship Director Search Process Update
The Worship Director Search Committee has extended an invitation to Chris Zickrick for a second visit to Red Lion. We are happy to announce that Chris will be returning to Delaware with his wife, Shannon, and son, Clive, next weekend, November 21-23rd. Thank you for your continued prayers for this search process.

RLEFC presents the David Crowder* Band
The David Crowder* Band with special appearance by Sum of One will be performing in the Pusey Center Thursday, February 26, 2009 at 7:00 pm. Tickets for bleacher seating & front of stage standing can be purchased online at rlefc.org or sumofone.com or by contacting the church office. Tickets are $20 through Jan. 15...$23 after Jan. 15th.

Women’s T.E.A. Tickets for Sale
Ladies, you do not want to miss out on this event on December 4! The women’s ministry needs friendly faces to host tables and men to serve at this event. If you are interested, please contact Elaine White. Tickets will be on sale next Sunday, November 9 after the 8:30 and 9:45 services or before the 11:00 service in the fellowship areas for just $8.

Turkey Bowl Practice
Young and old(er) are invited to join this great Red Lion tradition! Practice for our big game will be this Sunday, Nov 23 at 1:00 pm on the RLCA soccer field. All men ages 16 and up are encouraged to participate. Contact Rick Emerson at 302.834.9252 for more details. The Turkey Bowl will be held Nov 27 at 10 am in the RLCA stadium. Players should arrive at 9:30 am.
